Meet Katie Shults
Katie Shults has been studying, practicing, and teaching yoga for over 30 years. She believes that yoga is a way to find balance in every aspect of life. Throughout her journey, Katie has put yoga to the test in various roles - in relationships, as an athlete, professional carpenter, gardener, small business owner, and as a mother of two.
Yoga has helped Katie relieve both physical pain and emotional heartache, allowing her to navigate life's challenges with grace and resilience. She is passionate about sharing the practical ways yoga can improve lives, including its benefits for women's health and wellness, men's health and wellness, and the overall well-being of all people.
Her teaching style is a unique blend of traditional yoga principles, modern movement science, and mindfulness techniques designed to help students build a strong foundation in yoga and cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness. Katie's classes emphasize proper alignment, breathing and mindful movement to ensure that each student feels supported, challenged, and inspired on their journey towards holistic well-being.

Build Yoga provides opportunities for individuals to experience the benefits of yoga throughout the area by featuring outside yoga classes from May - October at the beautiful Stone House Farm. It is the perfect location for practicing yoga, breathing, and meditation amidst the calming sounds of nature.
